The "Halo" TV series has been discontinued following its second season

The Halo TV series has been discontinued by Paramount+ after just two seasons.

In a statement to Variety, the company noted that the series "will not continue with a third season on the platform."

According to a source, Xbox, Amblin Television, and 343 Industries are exploring other platforms to continue the series.

343 Industries expressed its gratitude: "We deeply appreciate the millions of fans who propelled the Halo series to be a global success and we remain committed to broadening the Halo universe in different ways in the future. We are grateful to Amblin and Paramount for their partnership in bringing our expansive sci-fi universe to viewers around the world."

The TV adaptation of Halo was first unveiled in 2013. Although a 2020 release was set in 2018, it was delayed to 2021 before finally premiering in 2022. The response from fans of the Xbox franchise was mixed.
