In the quarterly report for April-June 2024, Ubisoft also shared updates on the status of some of its games. We have compiled the most notable facts.
XDefiant
- During the past quarter, Ubisoft's monthly active audience grew by 7% to 38 million people.
- XDefiant's performance exceeded Ubisoft's expectations.
- The first season of the ninth year of Rainbow Six Siege became the most profitable in the game's history. There was also a significant increase in player engagement.
- The announcement of Assassin’s Creed Shadows spurred interest in the entire series and boosted its sales.
- The Crew Motorfest's metrics continue to outperform those of The Crew 2. In the past quarter, the game showed high levels of engagement and retention, as well as good monetization.
- Skull and Bones maintained solid engagement and ARPU (average revenue per user) figures.
- Ubisoft has delayed the release of Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence, with these games not expected before April 1, 2025. The company decided to give developers more time to ensure the games are of sufficient quality and capable of succeeding in a "demanding market."
