It is reported that the developers plan to add two new locations to the mode — Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl. Currently, players can only explore the history of Moscow. It is expected that about one and a half years will be needed to create the expansions.
In 2023, the head of the IRI, Alexey Goreslavsky, announced that the organization had allocated two grants for the development of "Smuta" itself, totaling 490 million rubles. Official sales figures for the game are unknown, but VK Play told "Kommersant" that "Smuta" is selling better than expected.
