The creators of cinematics for Dead Island and League of Legends: Wild Rift are closing down
Another piece of news about a company closure. Scottish Axis Studios, specializing in animation, has gone bankrupt and begun liquidating its business.

According to GamesIndustry, the studio faced serious financial difficulties due to rising costs and a decrease in the number of projects. Axis Studios tried to find a way to avoid closure, but was unsuccessful.
It is reported that as a result of Axis Studios' closure, 162 people lost their jobs.
In the gaming industry, Axis Studios is best known for the first trailer of Dead Island, which was so successful that it won an award at the Cannes advertising festival in 2011. They also created cinematics for Gears of War, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Magic: The Gathering, Warframe, and several other games.
