Resident Evil 7 is selling poorly on iOS
On July 2, Capcom released Resident Evil 7 Biohazard on iOS devices. According to the MobileGamer portal, citing AppMagic data, the game is not popular. Over two weeks, it has been downloaded about 83,000 times.

The game's revenue from IAP amounted to $28,100 — this is after Capcom paid the App Store commission and taxes.
iOS users who downloaded Resident Evil 7 Biohazard can try out only a small fragment of the game for free, and must pay $20 for access to the rest of the content. Based on this, MobileGamer roughly estimated that less than 2,000 people purchased the full version of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard on iOS.
Previously, MobileGamer reported on the failure of the iOS versions of Resident Evil Village, the remake of Resident Evil 4, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and Death Stranding.
*The journalists added the deducted 30% App Store commission to the revenue provided by AppMagic and divided it by $20. Their estimate does not take into account other in-game expenses and taxes paid by Capcom.
