According to IGN's June Wishlist Chart, Star Wars Outlaws maintains its position as the most anticipated game of 2024 among IGN users

Following a month filled with numerous video game unveilings, Star Wars Outlaws remains the most eagerly awaited game on IGN for 2024.
This forthcoming title from Ubisoft holds the second spot for wishlist additions on IGN Playlist over the past year, and also ranks as the second most wishlisted game overall. The top spot is occupied by Grand Theft Auto 6, slated for release in 2025.
In June, Star Wars Outlaws held the 17th position on the wishlist chart due to a wave of new game announcements that month.
The game with the highest wishlist additions in June was The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, unveiled unexpectedly at the last Nintendo Direct. Other contenders included Doom: The Dark Ages at No. 2, Mario & Luigi Brothership at No. 3, Gears of War: E-Day at No. 4, and Astro Bot at No. 5. The first four titles were newly revealed in June, while Astro Bot was announced in late May.
The strong performance of Echoes of Wisdom in June propelled it into the Top Ten most wishlisted games over the past 12 months, landing at No. 9.
One notable achievement is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a new IP that secured a spot in the June Top Ten at No. 9. This turn-based RPG was unveiled during Xbox's Summer Showcase early in the month.
Other interesting insights from IGN Playlist reveal that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the game users have most frequently backlogged, both in June and historically. 'Backlog' refers to games players intend to start but haven't yet. Prominent titles like Fallout 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Cyberpunk 2077 are also dominant on the backlog list.
Regarding the most completed games in June, Red Dead Redemption 2 leads the 'complete' list, followed by GTA 5 and Elden Ring. On the other end, the most abandoned game of the month was Assassin's Creed Valhalla, trailed by Apex Legends and Genshin Impact.
