The dev.by sample included three gaming companies — Wargaming, Melsoft, and Belka Games. Here is how their staff numbers in Lithuania have changed compared to the beginning of the year:
- Wargaming — decreased from 914 to 896 employees (-1.96%);
- Melsoft — decreased from 257 to 215 employees (-16.3%);
- Belka Games — decreased from 78 to 65 employees (-16.6%).
According to dev.by, IT companies in Lithuania are reducing their workforce due to global market problems. Additionally, Belarusian companies find it increasingly challenging to conduct business in Lithuania due to the political situation.
