Don't Nod has postponed the release of its new intellectual property, Lost Records, to prevent conflict with the upcoming installment of Life Is Strange
Don't Nod has rescheduled the release of its forthcoming game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, to steer clear of overlapping with the next entry in the Life Is Strange series, a franchise that Don't Nod originally developed.
According to a press release, the launch date for Lost Records has shifted from "late 2024" to "early 2025" after a thorough review of current market dynamics.
The game Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, crafted by Deck Nine and featuring characters from the original game by Don't Nod, is anticipated to debut on October 29. Don't Nod mentioned that this change in schedule should be advantageous for both games.
"Our fans are excited about both titles, and we want to ensure they have room to shine," stated Don't Nod CEO Oskar Guilbert. "This delay will allow our community to fully enjoy each experience."
"We are confident that the extra wait for Bloom & Rage will be beneficial. We eagerly anticipate unveiling this new chapter, aiming to add yet another cherished story to the Don't Nod universe."
Similar to Life Is Strange, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage centers on teenagers embroiled in a supernatural mystery adventure.
