A newly established studio named 2weeks aims to concentrate on the development of prototypes and smaller-scale games
Brandon Dillon and Richard Foge, both seasoned figures in the industry, have unveiled their new venture, a studio named 2weeks.
The studio's mission is to create brief prototypes that will be available online for public access. If these prototypes gain popularity, they will be expanded into complete games. This approach aims to eliminate installation obstacles and keep the games easily accessible, particularly benefiting emerging markets.
In his capacity as CEO, Dillon brings experience from his previous position as VP of engineering at Possibility Space. His resume also includes over six years at Oculus, three years at Double Fine Productions, and more than ten years at ArenaNet.
Foge will serve as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at 2weeks. His last role was as VP of design at Possibility Space, with his career also spanning roles at ArenaNet, Sony Santa Monica, Undead Labs, ProbablyMonsters, and several other companies.
The first prototype from 2weeks, a hybrid between horse racing and Texas hold 'em called Homestretch Bet, has already been released.
