Pullup Entertainment has secured minority ownership interests in both Uppercut and Rundisc
Pullup Entertainment has secured minority ownership in two indie game developers, Uppercut Games and Rundisc.
Through its wing, Focus Entertainment Publishing, Pullup will invest in Uppercut, known for its work on Submerged, and handle the publication of its next title.
Previously, this subsidiary published Chants of Sennaar by Rundisc, and their collaboration will persist with a forthcoming project.
Established in 2011 by experienced developers Andrew James and Ed Orman, Uppercut Games operates out of Australia.
The agreement between Pullup and Uppercut was facilitated by Cam Rogers Legal, a specialist legal firm in the gaming and digital media sector in Australia.
"The effort and dedication of the CRL team were key in finalizing this agreement," remarked Ed Orman, director at Uppercut Games.
