Tripledot has announced its acquisition of Zephyr Mobile
Tripledot Studios has announced the acquisition of Zephyr Mobile, though the financial details were not disclosed.
According to Pocket Gamer, Zephyr's team of 55 employees will continue operations under the leadership of CEO Serge Morozov from their headquarters in Warsaw. The company is recognized for developing various casual games and applications.
Tripledot Studios, known principally for the mobile game Woodoku, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership. CEO Lior Shiff stated, "We have admired Zephyr's work for a long time and are thrilled to collaborate with Serge and his team."
He further remarked, "Achieving multiple successful games is a significant accomplishment, and we look forward to scaling Zephyr's games using our platform and resources."
Zephyr Mobile's CEO Serge Morozov shared his excitement, saying, "I have always regarded Tripledot as leading operators in the industry. The opportunity to join forces with them was too good to miss. We are eager to see how Tripledot can help us maximize our potential and create lasting franchises."
In February 2022, Tripledot raised $116 million in a Series B funding round and subsequently acquired Live Play Mobile, an entertainment platform.
