Sinn Studio has successfully raised $2.5 million in funding to advance the development of its virtual reality combat game
Canada's Sinn Studio, headquartered in Toronto, successfully secured $2.5 million in funding, spearheaded by Hartmann Capital.
This capital injection will be channeled into advancing technology for its upcoming real-time PvP VR combat game, which is presently under development.
Additional financial backing came from entities such as Boost VC, Republic, Alumni Ventures, Mana Ventures, MetaVision, along with individual investors like Uken Games' CEO Chris Ye.
"After seven turbulent years in the VR space as a self-funded entity, we were waiting for the pivotal moment and optimal partners to back our first financial campaign," stated Alek Sinn, co-founder and CEO of Sinn Studio.
"We are profoundly thankful to Hartmann Capital and all our investors for their confidence in our vision to revolutionize combat for the future of spatial computing," he added.
Established in 2017 by Alek Sinn and Almir Brljak, Sinn Studio has expanded to a team comprising 30 members.
The studio's debut game, Swordsman, was initially rolled out on Steam in 2020 and was subsequently adapted for Quest, Pico, and PSVR 2 platforms.
