YouTube unveils Playables, its new gaming platform
Google has begun introducing its Playables initiative on YouTube, enabling users to access an array of games directly within the platform. This feature is accessible on desktop systems as well as iOS and Android devices.
The selection of games includes popular titles such as Angry Birds Showdown, Words of Wonders, and Cut the Rope, totaling over 75 games. Although the feature is not yet available to all users, Google has announced plans to expand its availability in the upcoming months, as detailed in a recent blog post.
The Playables feature was initially trialed last September with a limited audience. It was subsequently extended to YouTube Premium subscribers in November, according to a report by The Verge.
