Stellar Blade landed at the top spot in Circana's US charts for April, marking it as the 16th best-selling game of 2024 so far.

Shift Up's newest game was April’s only fresh release, keeping Helldivers 2 at the second position despite a sales drop exceeding 70% from March to April.

Sea of Thieves made a leap from 55th to 4th place, driven by its PlayStation release in April, while Fallout 4 soared from 87th to the fifth spot, boosted by Amazon's Fallout series' popularity.

Additionally, Fallout 4, 76, and New Vegas were standout performers in the US, securing their places among the most-played games in April.

In the mobile gaming sector, Monopoly Go, Royal Match, Candy Crush Saga, Roblox, and Last War Survival dominated the charts, with Last War Survival climbing two spots.

"Last War: Survival has risen in ranks and is currently a Top 5 game based on US consumer spending," said Sensor Tower's Samuel Aune. "It was one of the three games in the top 10 to see revenue growth month-over-month, alongside Candy Crush Saga and Evony."

Overall consumer spending declined by 3% year-over-year to $4.1 billion. However, spending on gaming content, which includes physical and digital games, add-ons, and subscriptions, increased by 2% to $3.7 billion.

Hardware sales experienced a sharp decline of 43% year-over-year, down to $208 million, and accessories sales fell by 4% to $152 million.

All console hardware platforms experienced a decrease of at least 26% year-over-year. Despite this downturn, the PlayStation 5 remained the top-selling hardware in April, followed by the Nintendo Switch and Xbox.
