Supercell believes that events like Summer Game Fest should feature more mobile games
At the Summer Game Fest 2024 presentation, one of the trailers shown was for Squad Busters, a new mobile game by Supercell. In a conversation with GamesIndustry, Supercell's Head of Marketing Rob Lowe stated that mobile games should be as integral to such shows as console and PC games.

According to Lowe, there is no point in ignoring the mobile segment, given that it accounts for half of the income of the entire gaming market. Moreover, Lowe believes that modern smartphones can easily be compared to portable consoles. In the near future, thanks to cloud services by Xbox and Netflix, gamers will start playing many games for the "big" platforms on them.
Lowe added that the organizers of Summer Game Fest initially did not want to include Squad Busters in their program. They agreed after learning that actor Ken Jeong (Kendrick Kang-Joh "Ken" Jeong) would be presenting the game's trailer at the show.
