The Chief Financial Officer of Embracer Group is preparing to resign
Johan Ekström will step down from his position as the CFO of Embracer Group on September 1, 2024. This was announced by Embracer Group in their report for the past year.

In the fall, Müge Bouillon, currently Ekström’s deputy, will assume the role of the new CFO.
Ekström is also the Deputy CEO of Embracer Group. He will step down from this position earlier, on June 1, 2024. He will be succeeded by Phil Rogers, head of the Crystal Dynamics — Eidos group.
The top manager will completely leave Embracer Group on March 31, 2025. Until then, he will assist the holding with its division into three companies: Asmodee, Coffee Stain & Friends, and Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends.
By the time he departs from Embracer Group, Ekström will have worked for the holding for six years. According to Embracer Group, he has decided to resign for personal reasons. It is not disclosed what he plans to do next.
