Nintendo has achieved the removal of more than 8 thousand forks of the Yuzu emulator from GitHub
The GitHub team deleted 8535 repositories with forks of the Yuzu emulator for games from the Nintendo Switch handheld console. She did this after receiving just one, but voluminous DMCA complaint from Nintendo.

The deletion message says that before the purge, GitHub moderators contacted all owners of the parent repositories and gave them the opportunity to make changes, as well as offered to provide access to legal resources if necessary.
Recall that at the end of February, Nintendo sued the creators of Yuzu, accusing them of complicity in piracy. The emulator developers decided not to sue Nintendo and preferred to enter into a settlement agreement.
