During the year, the creators of Playdate paid more than 500 thousand dollars to the developers of games for the hurdy-gurdy console

In March 2023, Panic launched the app store for the portable hurdy-gurdy console Playdate — Catalog. According to her, over the past year, developers distributing projects on the site have earned a total of $544,290 there.

The company clarified that Catalog's 25% commission and taxes have already been deducted from the amount.

There are currently 181 games in the Catalog library. To date, the titles have sold a total circulation of over 150 thousand copies. Residents of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Canada and Japan bought them most actively. Panic did not say which games turned out to be the most popular.

Earlier, Panic announced that it had sold 70,000 copies of Playdate by mid-February 2024.
