Last time, the company revealed Silent Hill downloads: The Short Message on February 6th. At that time, users had downloaded the game a million times. Thus, the second million downloads were achieved in just under a week.
Silent Hill: The Short Message was released on January 31 on PlayStation. This is a free existential horror, which was developed by Hexadrive studio. There is a new character in the center of the game. According to the plot, the main character Anita received a message from a friend who committed suicide and went to an abandoned apartment building to meet her. In the process, Anita will have to deal with her own fears.
Recall that the players and critics did not meet the horror too warmly. Over the past week at Silent Hill: The Short Message has improved its rating on Opencritic, but only slightly. If 21% of critics recommended playing it on February 6, now it is 24%. The average score on Metacritic also increased quite a bit — from 51 to 52 points out of 100 from critics, but the user rating has not changed and is still equal to 6.4 points out of 10. On the Silent Hill page: The Short Message on the PlayStation Store scores the game 4.16 out of 5 based on 20,000 reviews.
