Focus Entertainment is preparing to change its business structure and name

The French publisher Focus Entertainment has decided to reorganize. In a recent financial report, the company announced that it was going to split its teams into three independent divisions.

What divisions will Focus Entertainment have?:

• Focus Entertainment Publishing is the main publishing division of the company;
• a publishing house that will publish retro games and games from independent developers. It will include Dotemu and The Arcade Crew;
• The game development division, which will consist of company-owned studios: Deck13, Streumon, Twelve Tenths, Leikir Studio, Blackmill, Dovetail and Carpool Studio.

Focus Entertainment itself wants to change its name to PulluP Entertainment.

The changes will officially take place on April 1, 2024, provided that they are approved by the company's shareholders. According to Focus Entertainment, the reorganization and the new name will help it increase revenue and accelerate growth.

This is not the first time Focus Entertainment has changed its name. She already did this in 2021 — before the changes, the company was called Focus Home Interactive.

As for finances, Focus Entertainment reported a serious drop in revenue in the report. In the last fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2023, the company earned €43.3 million - 43% less than the previous year.
