  • Documents leaked as a result of the hacker attack on Insomniac Games continue to appear on the network. Of the latter, it became known that out of the $315 million budget of Spider-Man 2, the studio's direct costs amounted to $ 245 million. Most of them (17%) went to art. The rest of the money went to other Sony studios and various contractors who were also involved in the development.
  • On December 20, Ubisoft also tried to hack. For two days, hackers had access to Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Atlas and the company's SharePoint. They were trying to extract about 900 GB of data. However, the attempt was stopped. This was first reported by vx-underground, a leak-tracking account on the social network X. He also shared the screenshots that the hacker confirmed his hacking. Ubisoft later said it was aware of the "alleged incident" and was investigating.
  • The lead screenwriter of Larian Studios, Adam Smith, stated in the official Xbox podcast that when creating the game in the studio, they were mainly inspired by the works of Arkane Studios (known for the Dishonored series) and IO Interactive (responsible for the Hitman series). Among other things, he noted the following: "We, as a rule, looked towards the guys who create immersive sims, focused on how they approach the design of levels."
  • MYTONA stated that, as a publisher, it had decided to close the servers The Day Before. This will happen on January 22nd. The company explained its decision by saying that without a development team, it has no other choice. FNTASTIC, which acted as the game's development studio, dismissed all staff literally one day two weeks ago.
