A new game by Yuri Miroshnikov is being prepared for release — Age of Water
It became known that the publisher Gaijin Entertainment and the studio Three Whales are preparing to release a new premium product for PC. It's called Age of Water. It was produced by Yuri Miroshnikov, a veteran of Russian development.

Yuri Miroshnikov is one of the key figures in the history of the Russian gaming industry. From 1997 to 2014, he held the position of head of development and publishing of computer games at 1C, which at that time was responsible for most of the domestic market.
Almost all the projects that were released under the 1C label at that time were in one way or another connected with Miroshnikov (as a rule, he acted as one of the producers). Including: The Allods series (including The Cursed Lands), the Truckers series, The Prince series, the Corsairs series, the Il-2 series and many others.
Little has been known about Miroshnikov's work for the last ten to fifteen years. There was only information that he was engaged in game projects at the Yekaterinburg Targem Games. In particular, Gaijin Entertainment oversaw the development and operation of Crossout.
And so, according to the latest press release from Gaijin Entertainment and Three Whale Studio, Miroshnikov's new project was Age of Water. Visually, the game immediately resembles Fortnite and refers to the movie franchise "Waterworld".
Judging by the description and trailers, the game is an adventure "sandbox" about motorboat battles in a post-apocalyptic world. The player will have to explore the world, rebuild the base, assemble a boat for himself, trade, and, if desired, fight with other players within the PvP mode.
By the way, according to the latest appeal to the audience, the developers at the stage of the closed beta faced a problem at the positioning level. Most players mistook the title for a free-to-play multiplayer game in the spirit of Crossout.
As the developers noted: "Age of Water will be a paid game, not shareware. After a one-time purchase, you will get access to the game and can complete the campaign without paying anything extra. Age of Water is not a session-based online PvP game like Crossout or War Thunder, it is an open-world adventure game in which the gaming experience is enriched by online features."
The title is scheduled for release in the first quarter of next year.
