Ubisoft will no longer release updates for Far Cry 6
Ubisoft stopped working on Far Cry 6 two years after its release: updates for the game will stop being released.
However, the company is not going to turn off Far Cry 6 online services. They will continue to be available to gamers.
According to insider Tom Henderson, Ubisoft is currently working on two new games in the series at once: Far Cry 7 and a multiplayer spin-off. According to Henderson, the multiplayer project should be released before the seventh part of Far Cry. Its alpha version will be ready in the second half of 2024, and the release is scheduled for April 2025. As for Far Cry 7, its release could allegedly take place in the fall of 2025.
