Rumor: Bungie has left the author of music for Halo and Destiny
Composer Michael Salvatori (Micheal Salvatori) could have fallen under the wave of layoffs at Bungie. He has collaborated with the studio for over 25 years.
Salvatori's dismissal was announced by CinemaMotions CEO Carson Reed, citing sources close to Bungie.
Salvatori did not comment on the rumors about his dismissal, but on the main page of his official website there is now a note "went fishing."
The composer has been working with Bungie since Myth: The Fallen Lords. He also wrote the soundtracks for both Destiny and several parts of Halo, including the first game.
