Prices for Activision games in Turkey soared by 1,000%, in Argentina — by 2,300%

Activision has dramatically increased the regional prices for its games on Steam. According to SteamDB, prices rose the most in Argentina and Turkey.

What do the new prices for some games look like in Argentine pesos and Turkish lira:

▫️Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) - 8000 pesos (+2206%), 519.99 lira (+961%);
▫️Call of Duty: Black Ops II - 24,000 pesos (+2302%), 1559.99 lira (+851%);
▫️Call of Duty: Black Ops III - 24,000 pesos (+2302%),1559,99 lira (+646%);
▫️Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - 24,000 pesos (+166%), 1559.99 lira (+60%);
▫️Spyro Reignited Trilogy - 16,000 pesos (+1501%), 1039.99 lira (+533%);
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - 16,000 pesos (+2256%), 1039.99 lira (+533%);
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time - 16,000 pesos (+361%), 1039.99 lira (+160%);
▫️Prototype - 8000 pesos (+2206%), 519.99 lira (+961%);
▫️TimeShift - 8000 pesos (+2207%), 519.99 lira (+1233%);
▫️Zeus + Poseidon - 4000 pesos (+2207%), 259.99 lira (+687.8%);
Caesar 3 - 2,400 pesos (+2209%), 155.99 lira (+679%).

It is noteworthy that now a number of games in Argentina are more expensive than in the United States in dollars. For example, Call of Duty: Black Ops II is currently on sale in Argentina for 24,000 pesos or $68.56, and in the United States for $59.99.

Activision games have also risen in price in countries such as Brazil, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Ukraine, Indonesia, the Philippines and Uruguay, but not so critically.
