CD PROJEKT: $63 million was spent on the development of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

The Polish company CD PROJEKT reported on the success of the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, and at the same time told how much it cost to develop and promote it.

▫️In the first week of sales, the DLC was purchased 3 million times (its cost is $29.99 in the USA). We are talking about sales on all platforms where it was available (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows).

The cost of developing the add-on amounted to 275 million zlotys ($63 million at the exchange rate at the time of writing the news).

The marketing of the supplement cost an additional 95 million zlotys ($21.7 million).

Also, as part of the announcement, it is reported that CD PROJEKT shares this data due to the fact that information about them can potentially affect investment decisions.
