The Hearthstone development team has been reduced
Activision Blizzard fired some of the developers involved in Hearthstone. According to former employees, they were cut without warning.
This was reported by Kotaku journalist Ethan Gach, who noticed the posts of fired developers on LinkedIn. According to him, ten people were cut from the Hearthstone team. Among them was an instrument engineer Hunter Curren (Hunter Siggep), who worked for the company for more than 18 years.
Activision Blizzard, in response to a journalist's request, reported that it had indeed carried out layoffs. She explained that there had been organizational changes in the Hearthstone team and "a small number of positions" had become unnecessary.
