VK Play: 37% of Russians surveyed would like to work in the gaming industry
More than a third of Russians who took part in the new VK Play survey do not mind linking their careers with video games. The site interviewed 1,200 people.
37% of respondents reported a desire to work in game development. Of these, 27% would like to be screenwriters. The same number would prefer to be developers and programmers, and 19% would prefer to be artists.
▪️25% of respondents believe that a team of more than 35 people is needed to develop games. 20% replied that 6-10 people would be enough, and 23% believe that 2-5 people are enough.
A third of the respondents said that a "simple" game can be made in 3-6 months. Another 24% believe that it can be dealt with in 1-2 months.
