British supermarket chain stops selling video games
Another piece of news indicating the end of physical media. British supermarket chain Tesco has said it will no longer sell physical versions of video games in its 2,800 stores.
The network plans to sell the leftovers and take their place with other goods. At the same time, she will leave cards with digital points on sale.
For context: in June in the UK, less than 18% of sales of such blockbusters as Diablo 4, Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter 6 and F1 23 came from physical retail.
