IO Interactive has opened a studio in the UK
The authors of Hitman have begun expansion into the UK market. IO Interactive has announced the opening of a branch in Brighton, which will help with the development of an action about James Bond (James Bond) and a multiplayer fantasy RPG.
The studio in Brighton is the fifth in IO Interactive and the second, which opened in 2023. Recall that in March, the company announced the launch of a studio in Turkey, it also has divisions in Sweden and Spain and headquarters in Denmark.
CEO of IO Interactive Hakan Abrak (Hakan Abrak) in the GamesIndustry comment.biz said that now 300 people work in the whole company, and next year there will be more than 400 people. There could already be more employees, but Abrak believes that each branch should employ a maximum of 150 people.
