Microsoft paid $117 million for Hellblade authors
In court documents published as part of the hearings on the lawsuit of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) against Microsoft, the cost of buying the Ninja Theory studio was disclosed. It amounted to $117 million.
Recall that Microsoft announced the purchase of Ninja Theory on June 10, 2018. On the same day, three more studios joined the corporation: Playground Games, Undead Labs and Compulsion Games. It is not known how much their takeover cost.
