The creators of Postal do not see anything wrong with game piracy
The studio Running With Scissors, which developed Postal, has nothing against game piracy. She wrote on Twitter that many gamers who are now buying her games initially purchased them illegally.
Nevertheless, Running With Scissors asks pirates to financially support developers of projects they like, especially if these are games from independent teams. According to the authors of Postal, indie studios simply will not be able to continue making games and will eventually close if they do not earn on the sale of their titles.
Running With Scissors is not the first time it advocates piracy. Last November, she even called for pirating Postal III, calling it a “shitty game.”
