Rumor: Hi-Fi RUSH sold out worse than its creators expected

Insider Jeff Grubb claims that Hi-Fi RUSH rhythm action earned less than expected at Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks. Possible reasons for financial failure are the almost complete lack of promotion of the game and the release immediately on the day of the announcement.

Grubb did not say where he got the information from, so his words should be treated with skepticism. In addition, the former founder of Tango Gameworks Shinji Mikami called Hi-Fi RUSH one of the most successful launches for Bethesda and Xbox in recent years and noted that the game had a good impact on the business of Tango Gameworks.

Separately, Grubb mentioned that Microsoft is unhappy with the state of affairs in Xbox and may cut a number of employees.
