Square Enix Card Buttler

Square Enix has released a shareware card battler Guardian Cross for iOS. Good news for the company’s fans, since most of its mobile products are paid. 

The game takes place in a fantasy world populated by “watch monsters”. The player’s task is to catch them, make a powerful team of them and go on missions assigned by the Empress. In your free time from tasks, you can face off with other players’ monsters or upgrade your team.

Experienced developers who worked on many games from the legendary series took part in the creation of the game. Among them: the author of the original concept Hiroyuki Ito, who invented the Active Time Battle (ATB) combat system, composer Naoshi Mizuta and character design artist Akira Oguro.
