There are 500 million Android users in the world

A little news about Android after the previous one: as it became known today, the number of activated devices based on the OS created by Google has reached a significant mark of an embarrassing 500 million. 

This was announced a couple of hours ago by Hugo Barra, director of the Android division of the search company. In June, the number of activated devices was “only” 400 million.  

Barr’s announcement was not made by chance: on the eve of the presentation of the iPhone 5, Google is still trying to attract attention to itself, even if by such “cheap” methods.
