You can buy real goods on Amazon

Amazon has allowed the purchase of physical goods from its app store.

Recently it became known that developers of applications for Amazon Marketplace can sell not only virtual, but also physical goods using IAP. The latter will be delivered to users at home by regular mail.

Activision’s Skylanders Cloud Patrol children’s game has become the first application using this mechanism: when the game character is activated, real figures of the same heroes will come by mail to small gamers.

At the moment, however, it is unclear whether this innovation applies to the European Amazon, which appeared recently, or only to the American version of the store.
