Leeds became the base of mobile Call of Duty

At the end of last week, information appeared in the online media that the Activison internal studio, founded in November 2011 in Leeds (UK), will join the family of teams working on one of the “most important” franchises of this largest publisher – Call of Duty.According to the chairman of the British Association of manufacturers of entertainment software UKIE (UK Interactive Entertainment)

Andy Payne, Activision Leeds will be responsible for all subsequent portable and mobile (in particular, for iOS) versions of games under this super-hit brand.I must say that the core of the studio is made up of very prominent personalities in the industry: one of the creators of Team 17 and the “fathers” of the legendary Worms, Martin Brown, and two natives of the notorious Rockstar – Mark Washbrook, founder of Rockstar London, who developed portable versions of Mindnight Club and Manhunt 2, as well as Mark Lloyd, who led the studio for more than 10 years Rockstar Lincoln.
