Grand Theft Auto: Vice City released on iOS

Rockstar Games has posted one of its best console games on the App Store – a gangster action game about the 80s Vice City.

The release of the project on mobile platforms (the Android version should be released soon) is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the game. As we have already written, in October of this year it was ten years since the release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on PlayStation 2.

On the part of Rockstar Games, it was quite logical to release another port.

Already, the game leads the paid and cash tops of iPad apps in Russia, and is also among the top ten paid iPad games in the United States (do not forget that the day has not yet come on the other side of the Atlantic).

The best tracks of the 80s in one gameThe quality of the port itself is much higher than that of its predecessor.

The game is optimized for Retina-iPad screens of the third and fourth generations – the picture is clear, the textures are redrawn. On the other hand, the game did not get rid of periodic lags, and the drawing range left much to be desired, no smoothing. You can play, have fun – too, especially considering the gorgeous soundtrack, but there is no experimentation comparable to a PS2 game.

The game weighs 1 GB, costs 169 rubles, supports Russian.
