Apple paid $ 4 billion to developers

Yesterday we wrote about the record earnings of Apple itself, now it’s time to talk about how much developers have earned on applications so far. 

Apple CEO Tim Cook said that since the launch of the App Store, developers have earned $ 4 billion on their own programs. 

Of these 4 billion, only the last quarter accounted for $ 700 million in earnings, which indicates not only the frenzied growth in popularity of the company’s devices, but also that every day more and more users consider it the norm to spend their own savings on small applications for their favorite device. By the way, there are about 550 thousand of these applications in the App Store now.
