Media: Most Chinese developers support the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard

The Chinese antimonopoly regulator asked the opinion of local developers about the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft Corporation. He did not publicly publish the answers, but, according to media reports, the companies interviewed did not object to the deal.

This is reported by Seeking Alpha with reference to the report of The Capitol Forum. According to the publication, the developers believe that the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard will practically not harm competition in the Chinese gaming market. They also note that Activision Blizzard owns a relatively small share of the local market.

It is unknown when the Chinese regulator will make a decision on the deal.
