The senior producer of XCOM and Marvel's Midnight Suns left Firaxis Games
The other day Garth DeAngelis announced on Twitter that he was leaving Firaxis Games. He has worked in the studio for more than 14 years.
DeAngelis thanked the players and former colleagues, receiving a lot of warm comments in response. For example, the creative director of Firaxis Games, Jake Solomon, said that XCOM and Marvel’s Midnight Suns would not exist if it were not for DeAngelis. And Darren Weeks, senior level designer at Splash Damage, praised the developer and the entire studio for “reviving the genre.”
DeAngelis did not say what he was going to do after leaving Firaxis Games.
