Tim Sweeney: "I don't want Epic Games to become a company that stifles innovation"
Tim Sweeney commented on Twitter on the scandal surrounding the publication on ArtStation of images created by neural networks. He stated that the ban on such works goes against the values of Epic Games, the parent company of the site.
The head of Epic Games pointed out that there are already enough companies in the world that do not support innovation. As an example, he cited Apple, which prohibits developers from using their own payment systems.
Sweeney added that many artists in the Epic Games team experiment with neural networks in personal projects and consider them a revolutionary tool.
