50 million new users and 12 billion hours played — Blizzard summed up the results of 2022
Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard Entertainment, spoke about the results of 2022 for his company.
▪️Ibarra called the outgoing year a very good one for Blizzard. He became so, not least thanks to the releases of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Overwatch 2 and Diablo Immortal.
Gamers have spent 12 billion hours in Blizzard games, and the number of users Battle.net it has grown by 50 million people.
▪️Blizzard has increased diversity in the company. The proportion of women and non—binary persons in the state increased from 22% to 25%, and the proportion of representatives of ethnic minorities – from 34% to 36%.
The company has also doubled the team of the yet-to-be-announced survivalist.
