Media: Krafton is no longer the most expensive gaming company in South Korea
The problematic release of The Callisto Protocol hurt the company Krafton, which published the game. According to the GameMeca website, the publisher has dropped to second place in capitalization among Korean gaming companies.
The first place went to NCSOFT. Its market value is estimated at 9.98 trillion Korean won or $7.7 billion. The capitalization of Krafton is now noticeably lower — 9.05 trillion Korean won or $6.9 billion.
The top 5 most expensive gaming companies in South Korea also include Netmarble ($3.4 billion), Kakao Games ($2.75 billion) and Pearl Abyss ($2.27 billion).
