VK Play: most Russian gamers have encountered cyberbullying
VK Play conducted a study on cyberbullying in games. It was attended by 1,700 Russians aged 15-54 years.
Among the respondents faced cyberbullying:
▪️70% of PC gamers;
▪️64% of console gamers;
▪️61% of mobile gamers.
A third of respondents stated that they feel “Spanish shame” when they see aggression against other players. 28% of people said that it was unpleasant for them to observe such behavior. Another 28% of people said that they treat such situations neutrally.
Also, 32% of respondents noted that they do not like being subjected to cyberbullying themselves.
