The former head of Slightly Mad Studios criticized EA for closing Project CARS
Yesterday it became known that Electronic Arts (EA) decided to abandon the Project CARS series of racing games. The publisher’s action disappointed Ian Bell, founder and former CEO of Slightly Mad Studios.
Bell wrote on Twitter that he never ceases to be amazed by EA’s actions. He pointed out that the company’s decision will affect the studio’s employees, “their hopes, dreams and families.”
Earlier, EA reported that it would redirect Project CARS developers to other positions.
