Electronic Arts to spend $11 million on Women's soccer development
The company has launched the Starting XI Fund, through which it invests $11 million in women’s football clubs and leagues. In addition, starting in 2023, Electronic Arts (EA) is going to finance an internship program for female football players.
EA also announced a multi-year partnership with the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) and announced that more women’s teams will appear in FIFA 23.
