Bandai Namco "cannot deny" that hackers gained access to its customers' personal data in July

The Japanese company said it continues to investigate the situation with the hacking that happened in early July. Bandai Namco apologized to those who may have been affected by the leak and said it had stepped up security measures.

Bandai Namco stressed that hackers penetrated the internal systems of only units in the Asian region (but not in Japan) dealing with physical toys.
