Phil Spencer on future acquisitions: "we are not going to press pause"
The head of Xbox in an interview with CNBC called the video game industry a very competitive market. He pointed out that companies like Tencent and Sony are actively buying up studios, so if Microsoft wants to continue to be a major player, it needs to continue investing after the deal with Activision Blizzard.
Spencer clarified that Microsoft plans to both enter into new partnerships and invest in existing internal studios.
