Apptopia: In July, IAPs in iOS apps rose by an average of 40% compared to last year
According to Apptopia analysts, prices in iOS apps could have grown so much because of Apple‘s new privacy policy. They noticed that IAPs were getting more expensive at the same time as the average effective installation price (eCPI) was increasing.
For comparison: in July, IAPs in Google Play apps rose by an average of only 9%.
One—time IAPs have risen the most on iOS – by an average of 36%. Annual together with monthly IAPs have become more expensive by an average of 19%.
